We collect information you provide when registering, such as your name and email address, along with payment information processed securely through our payment provider. To generate live captions, we process your stream audio in real time. We also collect usage data, device information, and crash reports automatically to help us maintain and improve the service.

We use this information to provide and improve the service, generate and translate captions, process payments, respond to support requests, and send you important account notices. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the service, all of whom are bound by confidentiality agreements, and with legal authorities when required by law.

Audio is processed transiently to produce your captions and is not stored after your session unless you explicitly enable transcript saving. We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days. We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, though no method of storage is completely secure.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to certain types of processing. To make a request, contact us at hello@starvox.app and we will respond within 30 days.
